Our unique offering explores the creative and social skills in those wanting to engage in active activities. With guidance and support from staff and talented individuals who may also experience disability, this program focuses towards hands on fun and interactive experiences both in our accommodation residences and in the community setting.

Fantastic daily activities for nurturing and tending to herbs and an edible garden, our gardening and planting initiative allows experiences from preparing the soil, planting seedlings to growing mature plants and harvesting. Longer term accommodation and day program activities allow for assistance in self carer through food preparation and cooking from the edible garden.

Sensory plays an important part at Poppytree House. With dedicated areas for sensory based activities on site.

Our program also incorporates animal based social activities inclusive of other persons and pets. All pets are screened and some seasonal based activities can include puppy interaction, dog walking in the park across the road and bird watching in the local trees.
